IN BETWEEN

"In Between" is the working title of a multidisciplinary project that includes drawings, a spatial visual installation, video, and a publication. The project explores the challenges of contemporary life in a poetic and metaphorical manner, with a particular focus on the dehumanization of space—both physical and virtual—the fragmentation of identity between the ego and its virtual alter ego, and the individual's existence within today’s socio-political and economic context.
"In Between" serves as a continuation and evolution of my previous work, specifically the projects: "Rear Window - Unlimited Time in a Limited Space" (2021), "Geometry of Melancholy" (2022), and Mezzanine (2023).
To summarize, the project can be described as a series of impressions from urban and virtual environments—worlds shaped by geometric forms, frozen motion, and the interplay between organic and geometric elements, as well as the tension between the self and one's digital avatar.
The exhibition is conceived as a collection of fragmented segments, including:
- 20 drawings in A4 format
- 4 drawings in 25x70 cm format
- A 60-second looping video animation
- A visual installation featuring small sculptures and canvases, allowing for manipulation and shape creation on the gallery walls, with dimensions ranging from 100x70 cm to 300x400 cm
- A publication accompanying the exhibition
