The stream of thought fluctuates between the idealized and the real. This work shows the contrast between the actual and the idealized, the perfect version of things, what is and what could, and still could be, if we lived in a utopia.
According to Plato, the ideal object refers to the perfect and unchanging reality that exists outside the physical world that we perceive with our senses. In actual reality the physical world we see and experience is only a shadow or an imperfect copy of true reality.
The river simultaneously exists in two forms, as a regulated stream that flows through the city where the gray deposits of reality settle and in the dream of a perfect world, for this river blue that lives in our thoughts, aspirations, in the maps of urban plans.
