Bird-People

Bird-People are on the threshold between the mythical and the ordinary, as guardians of the park, quasi-superheroes or everyday enjoyers of a small piece of nature in the concrete jungle.
Their surfaces breathe with the patina of time, shaped by wind, rain and the quiet trembling of the earth. Like ancient gargoyles, rooted to their place, they are collectors of the stories of passers-by.
They embody the humanity in the park: the chess players huddled in fierce concentration, stalkers of young lovers, the lone walker navigating the labyrinth of their own thoughts and all those who will look up and see the park from a bird's eye view through their eyes.

Bird-People
Composition of two sculptures, placed in City Park, Skopje, R. Macedonia, commission by the Macedonian Ministry of Culture in the frame of the project for creation and set of new sculptures in the central city aria. The sculptures were set in the central city park in 2010.
